Private Violin Instruction
My name is David Dragone, I am a professional violinist based in Middletown, Rhode Island.
I have over twenty-five years of experience teaching violin to both children and adults.
My students have ranged in age from seven to eighty-five. I believe it is never too late to learn to play the violin, whether you are beginning for the first time or returning to the instrument later in life.
I teach at my home studio in Middletown, RI, or can provide in - home tutoring, schedule permitting.
My musical training began at age 8 with Bob Coleman of the New England String Quartet and later with Carol Berkle, of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. As an adult I continued with Dr. Joseph Ceo and Angel Valchinov.
I've enjoyed performing with pit orchestras for musical theater and other community events. In 2007 I co-founded the Sukada String Trio, which performed at wedding venues throughout Rhode Island. I currently enjoy playing in a string quartet and other ensembles.
