My name is David Dragone, and thank you for visiting. I am a professional violinist based in Middletown, Rhode Island, providing violin music for memorial and celebration of life services, church worship services, and private violin instruction.

I have over twenty-five years of experience teaching violin to both children and adults, with students ranging in age from seven to eighty-five. I believe it is never too late to learn to play the violin, whether you are beginning for the first time or returning to the instrument later in life. I teach at my home studio in Middletown, RI, or can provide in your home tutoring, schedule permitting.
My musical training began with Carol Berkle, formerly of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, and included performance experience in pit orchestras during high school and college. As an adult, I continued my studies with Dr. Joseph Ceo, a noted violist, and Paulinka DeRochemont.

In 2007, I co-founded the Sukada String Trio, performing at venues throughout Newport and surrounding Rhode Island communities. Today, I focus on providing thoughtful, appropriate violin music for memorial services and church services and teaching students.
A Thoughtful, Simple Process
Memorial services are often planned on short notice. My website and contact process are designed to help funeral directors, clergy, and church staff quickly confirm availability and make arrangements efficiently, allowing one less detail to worry about during an already difficult time.
