I strongly suggest 30 minutes
as a starting point.

A: I teach nearly all genres of music
but include a focus on classical
training to ensure good progress.
Q: What is your philosophy of teaching?
A: Students will progress far more quickly
in an atmosphere of discovery and
exploration, rather than rote learning.
While there is no avoiding the basics
I focus on showing your child
how to practice between lessons.
Mainly, the teaching needs to be
customized for each student
based on mutual discovery.
Q: What will my child need to start?
A: A violin in good working order,
a violin case, music stand,
violin rosin, bow, and a few
study books that I'll suggest
during your free consultation.
